IPSC Award - for Remarkable Input in Developing Sociology in Armenia

First year award winner, announced on Nov 13, at a yearly conference of the faculty of sociology, in Yerevan State University, is professor Lyudmila Harutyuyan, the founder of the first department of Sociology in Armenia in 1986 and the first faculty of Sociology at Yerevan State University.
Professor Harutyunyan has contributed to development of both academical and empirical sociological research by a large number of publications, lectures and practical researches conducted both within the frames of YSU faculty of sociology, as well as external organizations.
